THIS IS A REMINDER! CONFERENCES ARE THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23rd. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE at 906-214-4695 to set up an elementary conference.
HOMEWORK
All homework must be turned in. Please help your child check their red folder.
HALLOWEEN
Students may come to school dressed in their costumes on Wednesday, October 31st! We have a half day of school!
So that parents are not going broke for every holiday, I am asking parents to take a turn contributing towards our classroom treats on these days.
For Halloween this year we will make mini Fruit Pizzas for our class. I am asking the following parents to make a contribution to help us with our fruit pizzas on Halloween. October 31st.

Devin Bennet’s family – 1 package of
fresh strawberries
Noah Boehmke’s family - 1 package of
fresh strawberries Damian Bryan’s family - 3 or 4 Kiwi or 1 package of fresh blueberries
Emmi Carollo’s family 3 or 4 Kiwi or 1 package of fresh blueberries
Lucie Dedo’s family 3 oranges
Anthony Donat’s family 4 bananas
Addi Franz’s family – 1 package of
refrigerated sugar cookie dough
If someone would like to donate something else, please help us out. I will bring juice, and cups
Parents and Guardians: remember your children will have a chance to bring something on a different holiday. We only have a half day of school and they will be filling up on candy the rest of the day or evening.
Our class is working on a healthy eating grant and this is our first step toward eating healthy on holidays.

We are completing our unit on government.
Math
Students will continue to work on math facts and we are working on a geometry unit.
Science
Students are studying the human body!
Language Arts
Students are reading a story about Steven Spielberg, they are also beginning the TITANIC as a special activity. This part of history is a favorite of Miss Furmanski.
CLASSROOM RULES

Elementary Christmas Program! The Elementary Christmas program will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Eddie Chambers Gym. It will be rescheduled to Thursday, December 19, 2019 if there happens to be a snow day on December 18.
